What You Should Know About Austin House Assisted Living
Austin House Assisted Living is located in the tiny Arizona town of Cottonwood, which holds just 12,253 people, next to Verde Valley Medical Center, an elementary school and the local airport. Austin House Assisted Living is a midsize retirement community that splits its resident body into two halves: the Mirage Unit, which is specifically for residents who have formally been diagnosed with dementia, and the Sahara Unit, which is for everyone else. This community is unique in that its approach to senior care involves gauging, responding to and handling residents' behaviors, which can range anywhere from innocently unexpected to outright unruly. Each of the two aforementioned programs is led by a Care Coordinator, who oversees high-level group functions, makes staffing decisions and implements new types of resident care services.
