FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
The average age is 80 years old and they love to watch TV, engage with one another and enjoy our beautiful view of the Bay.
We offer an outsourced art and exercise class at least once a week and we have daily activities in the afternoon that vary from hot coco and cookies social or game night.
Our closest main street with restaurants is Webster Street.
We do not offer transportation but we have a list of transportation companies we work with.
All of our meals are home cooked meals, something that you would make for your family. We make sure we always have a protein, vegetable and some kind of starch. We make sure that our residents are eating a square meal at every meal. Our breakfast is a la cart, lunch is our main menu where it is set and dinner is our lightest menu which can be a sandwich and soup or pizza and soup.
Our facility is a closed campus, this means we have locked doors and alarms for those doors when they are opened or closed. We also have security cameras through out the facility inside and outside.
We are always in close contact with the families of the residents. We communicate through emails, letters and phone calls.
Day-time our ratio is 1:6 and our nighttime ratio is 1:12.
We do not accept pets, we have a therapy dog on site that is fully trained.
Each year the staff has to renew their training hours. We give the training classes on site but go through a licensed company that provides the training classes.
We are a locked facility which means all of our doors are alarmed when they get near the door or try and open the door.
