We have a varied population of residents here with the average age being 80.
Our residents enjoy taking advantage of all the enrichment opportunities we offer here, from cooking demonstrations to bingo to enjoying a warm sunny day at our resort style pool.
Our residents can watch a movie, stroll in the courtyard, relax by the pool, read in the library, surf the Internet, and so much more. Music, trivia, arts and crafts, entertainment, and speakers are always on our schedule.
There are several opportunities to stay in shape. Try our Chair Yoga or Walking Club. Maybe you’d like to do some gardening in our courtyard or join an outing to the mall or a local restaurant?
We offer free transportation to local medical appointments, shopping malls, entertainment venues and popular restaurants.
Our chef and dining staff are dedicated to creating a dining experience that is fun, varied and nutritious. Our assisted living, respite care and memory care dining programs feature a wide variety of menu choices, available special diets, and a selection of tasty snacks available throughout the day.
Perhaps one of the best things about dining at Grand Villa is our chef’s interest in our Tasty Traditions program. It’s as easy as giving the chef your family recipe, which our staff will then prepare for everyone. It’s all part of our family tradition.
We send monthly newsletters to the families of our members to keep you up to date on happenings in the community. We also take care to always reach out and inform you of any changes with your loved one.
The care staff to resident ration varies from 15-1 to 25-1.
We know pets are a beloved part of the family and we permit cats and dogs (under 20 pounds) to live here.
All staff here takes place in monthly training in a variety of topics to better assist our residents and provide the best possible care for them.
Residents are encouraged to enjoy freedom of movement while at our assisted living community. Although Grand Villa has a check system in place to understand the general whereabouts of our residents, residents are not monitored continuously and are permitted to travel independently in the community. We request and expect that the resident and family members will discuss any concerns regarding wandering or risks of getting lost with the Resident Care Supervisor or Executive Director.
