What You Should Know About The Retreat at Port Orange
The Retreat at Port Orange provides personalized senior assisted living services within a luxurious community setting. Staff members help residents live as independently as possible, while providing assistance with personal care, medical needs, dietary selections and escorts to and from the community dining hall and on-site activities. Residents engage in pet therapy sessions, religious services, arts and crafts activities, guided exercise classes, cocktail hours and themed social gatherings each week. Three chef-prepared meals are served in the restaurant-style dining room each day, and off-site activities that include crafting and literary events let residents venture out under staff member supervision.

FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
We have 38 beds on our AL side, each of our residents have some form of Dementia. We have 16 beds on our Advanced Alzheimer's side. We believe in building relationships with our care team, residents, leadership team and families.
We have a vast activity schedule throughout the day. We don't just put the calendar in their rooms - we go door to door to bring our residents out to enjoy our fun!

We have a bus that we use to take our residents to outings, lunches, doctors appointments or just for ice cream!
We offer nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day.
We are a secure building on both sides (assisted living and advanced memory care).
We have motion censures in each room during the night.
We have a monthly newsletter and we ensure that any changes are communicated to the families.
There is not an actual requirement for care staff to resident. It is based on an acuity level, but we are well above the minimum.
If a resident or the family can care for the pets, we are happy to have them. We have a lovely garden area.
We at Grace Manor have the mandatory training, in addition, we have NIDE (National Institute of Dementia Education). This gives us a little more insight into how to best communicate and interact with our dementia residents.
