FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Our residents are a great diverse group of people. Men compose about 40% and women 60%. The youngest resident is 62 and the oldest is 100. Our residents enjoy outings to various local eateries, shopping at Belk, Target, Walmart and many other department stores,. We also have a beautiful movie theatre, full bar for happy hour and library, huge porches with views of Lake Lanier. Themed Bingo games, crafts, a walking club, and a book club are enjoyed by many!
We offer many different spiritual opportunities as well as support groups, daily exercise and lots of opportunities for social interaction with other residents, volunteers, and family members.
Our residents go shopping at many nearby stores like Publix, The Dollar Tree, Ingles, Rite Aid, Walmart, Belk, etc. They also go out to lunch on a weekly basis to places like Red Lobster, Texas Roadhouse, Chilies, as well as to special outings like the Butterfly museum, to look at Christmas lights, or the pumpkin patch!
We have our own bus to take residents to doctor's appointments, shopping and many planned outings.
We offer restaurant style dining complete with a wait staff and an always available menu. We also offer a variety of salads, fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as fish and various meats. We do monthly family luncheons and holiday meals and offer special diet provisions, sugar free desserts and an array of ice cream flavors that are always available.
