Emerson Point

Emerson Point is an assisted living community for seniors that provides affordable housing and promotes dignified and independent living. Apartments are handicapped accessible, with communal areas that include a community dining room, activities area, television lounge, computer center, library, private dining room for functions, exercise room and laundry rooms for each wing. Offering personal assistance and support services tailored to residents' needs, it uses individual service plans to identify and meet residents' needs. Providing ongoing assessments, the community offers resident's assistance with preparing breakfast, while offering lunch and dinner daily in the dining room. Residents are also given help with bathing, dressing, grooming and managing medication as needed, with a 24-hour wearable response system for emergencies. The community offers regular social and recreational activities, which include crafts, bingo, a coffee hour, religious services, card and board games, movies, and programs that involve children, pets and music.
