Average age of our residents is 80. Our residents enjoy gardening and walking outdoors, puzzles and many outings and shopping
Variety of physical and mental exercises every morning, My life story, Don’s Old Time Radios, Pet visits, Travelogue, Movie nights, spa day (manicures), Men’s coffee hour, Ladie’s Tea Time, Religious services and small groups, Tech Time (Ipad games, assistance with electronic communication), musical entertainment, Game night, Bingo, Jewelry Shows, Resident counsel, Painting (Wine & Canvas nights, acrylic painting workshops, etc), cooking demos, Sporting tailgates, Book club, intergenerational events, In touch program that allows for each resident to create a profile of activities including SKYPE
We are within 2 miles of shopping and restaurants. There are many local trails.
We have a community vehicle for outings and activities. We also can arrange for 3rd party transportation to and from medical appointments etc.
We use a fresh approach and meals are made from scratch. Fresh in season fruits and vegetables are utilized. Our chef meets weekly with residents to determine likes, dislikes, and requests for the week's upcoming menu
Doors are locked after dark, all rooms and bathrooms have pull cords/call lights.
Newsletter, monthly family calls and invites in to join us at the community. In addition we have a monthly collaborative care review of each resident and communicate any changes needed in care immediately
We staff based on acuity so above safety standards. As the needs of our residents increase so does that staffing. Minimum of 2 in each house at night
We accept both and they are free to utilize the community escorted by the resident or care associate. We do offer pet care as part of our care program
Outgoing monthly training with the Resident Care Coordinator through LMS.
This must be completed in order to remain on the schedule to work
Any resident who requires this type of security would be assessed for a smooth transition to our memory care on the same campus as the Assisted living community
