Monthly they volunteer for a local service projects like baking homemade dog treats for the local animal shelter. In the heart of West Bloomfield located at Orchard Lake Road and Lone Pine, our community is nestled in the woods. It provides great access for friends and family members to visit. We are just minutes from lakes, shopping and places of worship.

We offer several services in our own community like access to a primary physicians, podiatrist, home care, physical therapy/occupational therapy and much more. We take weekly outings to restaurants, entertainment and shopping. If transportation is needed for other appointments our community bus with wheelchair access is available.

Our Five Diamond Dining Service offers distinctive culinary options with flexible hourse including bistro for informal meals or snacks, a more formal country club-style dining room and Silver Tray Room Service. Snack and beverage service is available throughout the day. Townehall Place does offer options for either preference or religious reasons. We also specialize in other diets such as purée, thicken liquids, mechanical soft, diabetic and no added salt to accommodate physician orders.

All our residents receive a state of the art wireless pendant to alert staff of additional care beyond their individualized care plan. We also work with our in house physical therapist team to do a fall assessment and preventative measures to help avoid any risks. If a resident chooses to work with one of the physician who come here for the residents, they will do an assessment of their medications to make sure there are no unnecessary prescriptions that cause more harm or were given at one time and never discharged. A common problem our seniors are facing with multiple healthcare visits.

Our Five Diamond Experience starts the second you walk through the door. Our concierge greets you with a smile as our team is available to answer your questions. Our Resident Care Director will do an assessment on your loved one to determine their individual care plan. Together we build the custom details like "my mom loves breakfast delivered in her room by 7 a.m." so our staff can make each day great. Regular "care conferences" are scheduled and of course can be requested. A weekly email about our community activities goes out to families along with the monthly calendar and newsletter. We do accept small animals and offer great outdoor spaces they can enjoy!

Our staff go through a lengthy orientation process including state requires courses. In addition, monthly requirements, in-services and ongoing continuing education courses are being completed.
