Elmcroft of York offers seniors a warm and relaxing environment in which to spend their retirement years. The 24/7 caregiving staff provides assistance with personal care tasks, while encouraging residents to remain as independent as possible. Emergency call systems are located in every room in the community for the safety of residents. A personal care plan is developed for each senior and is updated on a regular basis in coordination with family members and health care providers. The Fulfilling Dreams program helps residents fulfill their personal hopes and dreams with the assistance of staff members. Activities offered by the community include outings to local events and attractions, virtual reality cultural tours, fitness classes, movie nights and wine and cheese socials. Three nutritious meals are served restaurant-style on a daily basis in the dining room, and snacks are always available.
