FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
The age ranges of our residents are 68 to 98 years young. They enjoy going out to eat or to local events. Our community hosts many events onsite the residents enjoy.
We host a variety of events in our community from Painting with a Purpose, to enjoying Texas Music Heritage Musicians, to Wine and Cheese Fridays.With COVID in mind, we still hold numerous events but we now conduct things differently by implementing social distancing protocols. Safety First!
Our community is located on the beautiful walking trail that parallels the Guadalupe River. We are also about 2miles from center of town where all the exciting things happen.
Our community shuttle is available throughout the week to take residents around the community to local venues with social distancing and doctors appointments.
We have an Chef who is adored by everyone in the community including our residents. Even our staff members can't help themselves, they eat lunch here too!!
Enclosed courtyard with access only via indoor areas and all exterior doors are locked at night. No one may enter our community without us knowing.
The staff stays in contact with the families regularly to keep them abreast of changing health concerns. Through partnerships with local medical providers, there is a focus on ensuring residents' health is at the highest optimal ability.
Many of our residents care for their animals in their apartments. Dogs and cats are welcome in our community.
Our community holds ongoing training that covers various aspects of topics that will deepen their empathetic skills and ensure that they understand use the information they receive. Our leaders lead by example in the areas of these trainings.
We have a secure neighborhood of apartments for residents who needs additional safety measures in place. The time may come for a resident in the Assisted Living neighborhood to transition to our Memory Care community. This is done with ease due to the similarities in the setting and seeing the same staff work with them.
