A vibrant and engaging group of seniors between the ages of 80 and 85 . Very loving and welcoming family we have here at Harvest Home & Inwood Crossing. They love to learn new things and keep up to date regarding current events. We provide our residents the possibility of creating their own clubs based on their past hobbies/ interests.
A revolutionary weekly exercise class, focused on strengthening core muscles and balance, Art & Music appreciation classes, Current Events and of course Bingo. We offer various spiritual services in which they actively participate and share as a community. We have live entertainment, wine down Wednesdays, party on the patio's and many adventures outside our community that the residents vote on monthly!
Also, we have a weekly lunch bunch!
We are located only minutes from Main Street in Tomball where there is great shopping, theaters, restaurants and site seeing! We are located in a neighborhood so its also a lovely place to take a walk!
Our bus services are complimentary to group outings and doctor appointments, personal assistance to doctor appointments are available on Tuesday and Thursdays. Giving our residents and families more time to spend together having fun rather then the hustle and bustle!
Our renowned chef in the industry, not only cooks but caters to our residents needs. We offer monthly Family Night Dinning and celebration of all holidays. Our menu of the day is defined as "Comfort Food" and speaks to the likes of our residents; we offer as well options which cater to all tastes and diets. Our Wellness team and Chef work together to assist with special diets. Our monthly Town Hall Meetings also include the residents input on food or any receipt they would like to share that takes them back!
Our team is continuously trained on different drills; fire, earthquake, triage. Our team is proud to announce that we our First Aid & CPR certified. In addition, we have a Generator on site incase of emergencies. All apartments are equipped with Emergency call system, smoke detectors and sprinklers. Additional call services are available at a modest one time fee upon request.
We like saying that we become partners in care with our families. Communication nowadays is a matter of personal preference, it allows us to offer text messages, emails, calls or a one on one meeting with our families and residents. Our community has an " Open door policy" ; families are welcomed at any time to discuss the needs of their loved ones.
Based on residents needs and occupancy, a team of supervisors and care partners are available at all times lead by our Wellness Director. Our residents that reside in memory care enjoy a more personalized attention.
We accept small cats and dogs, no more than 20 lbs. With beautiful landscaped gardens, these loved companions enjoy the company of their owners and can be seen visiting other residents or enjoying morning walks. Service pets are welcomed
Our team receives training throughout the year with topics ranging from care to emotional connection. Our memory care team is dedicated in understanding their conditions and bring normalcy to their lives, creating pleasant moments with reminiscing and engaging activities.
Our goal has always been to protect those that need us most. Safety features such as double egress doors and emergency call system that allows our residents to move freely without being intrusive. One of our main features is the training our memory care and reflections team receives on how to manage challenging moments and help our residents express their wants, needs that have created those moments.
