What You Should Know About BeulahLand Assisted Living
BeulahLand Assisted Living is a senior community offering a multitude of care services to improve and maintain each resident's quality of life. The staff members and nurses at this campus assist with common activities of daily life, including dressing, grooming, using the restroom, showering and moving around as needed. Caregivers are also experienced with specialized care for a range of conditions. In particular, seniors recovering from strokes, those living with diabetes and people requiring colostomy care or catheter care can receive targeted services. Residents receive three daily meals, which are prepared according to their unique dietary needs. This community also handles everyone's laundry needs and provides housekeeping and maintenance services. A variety of activities is offered each week, providing social and recreational outlets.

FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Our average age is between 70 to 80. Our residents enjoy our daily activities. Bingo is one their favorite activities, along with enjoying our outside patio, socializing around our visiting ice cream truck, and enjoying our many cook-outs.
Beulahland offers physical therapy and exercise activities, such as inside activities such as ball toss, bowling etc.. We offer games to help encourage interaction among residents. Once a month Beulahland has dog therapy. We also have a visiting beautician to that our residents enjoy.
We have a golf course ¼ if a mile from Beulahland and we are located less 5 miles from the Tygart State Park, which offers a beautiful lake and many outdoor activities.
Beulahland can provide transportation locally to doctor appointments, eye doctor visits, or dentists.
Meals like mama made- We offer home made meals such as homemade chicken gravy over biscuits, meatloaf, your choice of a breakfast menu. We have a large kitchen that helps our staff accommodate all our residents individual needs.
We offer plenty of safety features, such as, numerous security cameras, alarms on all doors, staff radios for instant communication, and we offer personal residents alarm if needed. In the case of power outage, our facility generator ensures our residents are kept safe.
We want our families to stay informed. We personally call families, email, or text to provide updates for their loved ones. You can choose to Skype/FaceTime with your loved one to communicate as well.
Our trained staff operates on three 2 person shifts during our 24-hour care. We have an additional staff during the day, such as an additional trained employee and a chef.
Beulahland does not currently accept dogs or cats.
Our staff is frequently trained on Residents Rights, Adult Abuse and Prevention, Alzheimer's Dementia training. CPR & First Aid, HIPAA laws, Infection control, Diabetic training and other training throughout the year.
Beulahland has alarms on all doors, we also have floormats and clip alarms. We can also provide personal alarms. We offer security cameras that help monitor our facility for wandering. Our staff utilizes radio communication to stay in constant contact in the case of a wandering resident.
