What You Should Know About Elmhurst House of Friendship
Originally built in 1890 and donated to the Home for Aged Women in 1940, the Victorian-era mansion of Elmhurst House of Friendship has expanded with contemporary amenities for residents' safety and comfort while maintaining its classic charm. The house is now a four-story assisted living community that welcomes men and women alike, staffed by resident assistants, LPNs and RNs that provide 24-hour support. All building floors have elevator access, and regular walking programs take place along hallways and garden walkways.
